Nursing my toddler back to health 🤍 Wesley has been dealing with Croup for 4 days now. Poor little bub. But I’m doing my best to support him & love him back to health. One way is through breastfeeding. Some people get shocked when they hear my almost 27 month old toddler asking for ‘du lait’ aka. Milk, while running towards me trying to lift my shirt. But I couldn’t care less about their opinion 😬 Because I am fully on board with the amazing benefits of nursing my toddler. Did you know that breastmilk: - Supports your baby’s health & immune system. Antibodies are released through a mother’s breastmilk. When either mum or baby is sick, baby’s saliva communicates with the intricate system in mum’s body what type of antibodies / protection / nutrition baby needs. - Promotes optimal brain health.
