Are you making and measuring your gauge swatches correctly!? For any crochet project that needs to be a specific size (e.g. garments, hats or socks) the matching the gauge in the pattern is pretty much essential. My top tips for crochet gauge success are: * Make your swatch large enough - at least 6" x 6" / 15cm x 15m * Measure internally on the swatch - use a hard ruler and pins for accuracy * Take more than one measurement - yes, it's a pain but it will save SO much time later!
