170 years ago William Henry Fox Talbot wondered whether to try and photograph a solar eclipse - he decided against, saying the excitement of the moment would distract him. Almost 168 years later, it was the calm serenity of an eclipse that inspired this photograph, 145 Seconds of Darkness, part of the Astronomy Photographer of the Year exhibition on show at the Fox Talbot Museum. #Eclipse #Astrophotography #AstronomyPhotographerOfTheYear #Serenity @royalmuseumsgreenwich ©Filip Ogorzelski
