Just in time for Shetland Wool Week, we are so excited to reveal our newest yarn range: 5ply Shetland! This is a worsted spun, 100% Shetland Wool 5ply/sport weight yarn, it is available in 20 shades inspired by our environment and maritime history here in Shetland. It uses two bases, a Natural White and a Natural Grey, 13 shades are dyed on the White then we also overdyed 5 of the shades on the Natural Gray base resulting in a beautiful heather 🖤 This yarn will be available exclusively in the shop until after Wool Week and will be available online in mid-October. it will be available to our stockists once the second batch is ready. This yarn has been a long time in the making, we have been asked for years for a 5ply and now we do! The stitch definition is excellent and we think you are going to love it.
