Paetou is a living space. It is also one of several endangered area on Mo’orea. It’s rich biodiversity feeds native animals and locals on the island. Recently, a freshly implanted construction society named OBTP has started a demolition work in order to build a road and industrial lots on Paetou. What we are losing for the sake of business is priceless. Ancestral land are being destroyed. At this rate, one can only wonder, what will Mo’orea become ?
