The ice jam broke free on the Battle River yesterday! This is always an exciting event as it signifies that spring really is here, the river is flowing freely again, and it also creates one of my most favourite sounds in the world! Spring run off is here and it is oh so beautiful! ☀️ After the extreme drought we went through last summer, any kind of moisture is a welcome sight. The creeks are running, roads are slightly washed out and there are puddles everywhere. It makes me SO DANG HAPPY!!!
