The hanging knee raise is one of my favorite abdominal workouts. It targets the rectus abdominals, hip flexors, and some obliques. The abdominals can be targeted, trained, and grown in muscular size and strength. Steps: 1. Dead hang from a pull-up bar or gymnastics rings with a grip that's comfortable, with your arms and legs fully extended, and feet off the ground. 2. Raise your knees towards your chest as high as possible.Β 3. Hold for a brief moment and slowly return to the starting position.Β Hanging knee raises require enough upper-body strength to support your body weight. If you find them too challenging, you can try to do knee raises on the captainβs chair or Roman chair. Use the chair's two arms to support your body weight as you raise your knees. Q.
