𝗪𝗛𝗬, 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘. 𝗪𝗛𝗬𝗬𝗬𝗬?! Encik suami was down with Covid on 2nd day of CNY. He woke up feeling feverish & sore throat (though there was no fever). We had plans that day. But Allah plans is the best. He wanted to isolate in a common room, which as a wife & mother of 3, I SCOLDED him. Then, it defeat the purpose of isolation if he goes in & out to use the bathroom, right? Yes, for the safety of our school-going children, I don't want to jeopardize the safety of these little humans, and their friends. So he made his way into the Masterbedroom & isolate himself in the room guai-guai. 🤭 He did not go out of his room, I did not enter to take my clothes / perfumes / facial wash. Nothing. I had 2 pairs of gg out clothes in dryer & 2 tudung bibik. (We don't have a bibik. I am their bibik when I wear bibik kind-a tudung) The kids never saw their dad for 9 days (except videocalls). I doubled my cleaning in a day - 2 x mopping / 3626482 x vacuuming when the kids are around. I packed his BF / lunch / dinner in a disposable containers. He'll spray with dettol spray when I gave cue to put the rubbish outside the room. I used disinfectant ALOT. A kiasu mom, I am. On day 5, he complained of boredom. 🤪 I updated ART results to the elder's form teacher & the younger ones' childcare, daily. Yes, daily. 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆. Was I angry that he was down with Covid? No. Was it easy? It wasn't, but when I reflect back, honestly I wasn't feeling physically tired, but I was emotionally drained. And yet, I saw people 😡 Still donning their mask exposing their nose. 😡 Rinse their FINGERS after visiting the toilet. 𝗪𝗛𝗬, 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘. 𝗪𝗛𝗬𝗬𝗬𝗬?! Back then, I had only 1 child. I had my career path sorted...but and then halfway through my studies, I got pregnant. And yes, I completed by studies end of 2018. Long story short, I was unemployed since 2017, and has been on/off focusing on my kids. Because the elder one was sitting for MET. Though, I received nasty comments, but that aside. May Allah forgives whatever you said about me. Now that all 3 are in school, I am pretty much "free". However, I couldnt bring myself an 8am - 6pm job..yet. Just not yet. So, I took Part-time 9.30am - 3pm, and today, for the 1st time in many² decades, I was standing during those period (except for 1hr lunch). Pinggang da menjerit, zissss. The only exercise I did was birth walk. But this... I guess age is catching up. So, tonight - like other nights, I need my Aulora socks. See that compression curve around my foot?
