This was a trip to remember for a lifetime. The kids enjoyed games and arts and crafts while parents learned valuable survival skills and watched a recovery demo. We ate great food, enjoyed the best shaved ice. We laughed, we danced and we even sang. Some went fishing, others on a trail run. A few saw a bear (video coming soon) and a few slept like a bear after a crazy fun Friday night 😂. We love each and every one of you guys. You are all WOR FAMILY. We could not do this without all the help from our amazing volunteers and sponsors. Sorry if you missed the group photo as I know it was taken after quite a few had left for home. Went hiking last weekend in the Eastern Sierra Mountains, made me realize a few things. 1. I am out of shape. 2. I need to step out of the van more often and hike instead of drive. 3. There are so many amazing places that can only be reached by walking and I want to see as many as I can in my lifetime. 4.
