My bestie is getting married, one month today!! Eek!!

This girl has been feeling a little under the weather, I’m going to share with you my musts to get on the mend. Step one || rest is SO important. We are living in a very hustle and grind world, we need to take the time to stop and just be. Step Two || hydration. Drinking lots of extra fluids while we are sick is a great way to flush out the toxins and give space for the profound energy. Step Three || vitamins. When I’m feeling a little under the weather I like to stock pile the echinacea, vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, Magnesium, a b complex and omega’s. If you aren’t sure what vitamins you should be taking, I highly encourage you to check out @eastnd.pei Last and most importantly get all the cuddles. They definitely make me feel so much better 🥰

Today is snuggles day with bubba. Feeling under the weather, low energy and all I’m needing right now is snuggles from my baby. I hope that you too, are listening to your bodies needs, and if that need is rest, please take it. It’s so important to tune it and listen to the divine self.

I’m beside myself with so much excitement of what is yet to come! Shop is expanding, the zero waste night market is making a comeback and I’m creating change within the community. I may not be super active on social media and to be honest I used to feel super guilty about not showing up here everyday but the good works don’t happen when you are behind a screen. So thankful that you all are here with me and embracing this beautiful journey that I’ve embarked on! Thank you for being here, I love you all so much!!

On my wellness journey I have been learning a lot about foods and how they intermingle with our over all health. This may seem like common sense to many but what you might not know is that EVERYTHING starts within the gut and this reflects throughout your largest organ, the skin. @wild.kitchn is a dear friend of mine and she is striving to create change in the kitchen. She is helping many individuals, much like myself, reshape our mindset when it comes to food. Brittany brings a happy, healthy environment into the kitchen, where cooking can be fun and playful. Chef Brittany shares helpful tips on how to incorporate more plants into our diets, how important it is that we stop paying into the unsustainable food industry and shares delicious recipes the whole family will enjoy. Much like cosmetics, the food industry is corrupt and Chef Brittany is enlightening the way for us to strive for success for a better wellbeing and environment! I wanted to share this beautiful being with you loves because it is SO important that we are not only taking care of ourselves topically, but on the inside as well. @wild.kitchn is having a beautiful garden party with @islandtidesfestival & @discovercharlottetown happening in just a couple weeks! This girl just finished her first wedding of the season. One down 33 to go. SO excited for this season it’s going to be filled with so much love!! I took this image to document my happiness and then the imagery captured the gorgeous sun rays coming in. Ahhh, today was such a blessing!
