There are two sheds on our property - a smaller & larger, connected by a sliding barn door with options to use one shed or both. It’s been raining for two days straight now with forecast to rain for the rest of the week & we couldn’t be happier! It’s been a pretty dry start to winter & our dams, paddocks & natives need a good soaking!

There’s something special about heading south in winter. The Main Street is a little quieter, queues for early morning coffees have dropped & you can get a table at your favourite winery (sometimes 😜) Bush walks, theatrical beach trips, long lunches without the rush & cozying up by the fire with a glass of local red & cheese are highly recommended. Makuru at Two Blind Cows. Makuru is one of the six Noongar Seasons, it is the season that brings the first heavy rains. It spans from June through July & is also known as the season of Fertility. A time in the year when fire is used daily & ritually - a time in the year when banksia bloom & we watch the earth turn green almost over night - a time of growth. You may have noticed we’ve been a little quiet on the socials lately - life has been full; another wedding @twoblindcows, the brith of a beautiful big baby boy & some pivotal unforeseen events - time for us at Two Blind Cows has been full of growth. But, we’re happy to be back & we’re happy to share our wonderful home with you.

Over the last week we’ve had a few crew jump on board & join our beautiful community of glampers - largely due to the lovely write ups in @perthisok.stays & @austtraveller 👏👏👏 We want to say hi & a big big welcome to @twoblindcows; a 4 tent glamping hub located just out of @margaretriver on Woolrabunning Farm. Our 4 tents are spread out, each with their own views of neighbouring vineyards, farmland or protected bushland. As the saying goes; the best time to plant a tree was yesterday! So, we best get to it.
