Feel so lucky to be living on an island where the sea and the land are so connected and accessible. Picture by @hbgoodie #islandlife #sea #coralgardeners @coralgardeners
I love this picture, it shows how beautiful & complex coral reef ecosystems are. Every specie has a role to play in maintaining the balance of the reef’s systems. Picture by our friend @chrisleidyphotography @coralgardeners #coral #reef #underwater #ecosystem
Coral reefs are the foundation of a healthy ocean. If nothing is done to preserve and restore them, they will be the first ecosystem on Earth to entirely collapse. We are happy to announce that @northsails_collection is joining us in our mission to save our world’s coral reefs. To find out more about our collaboration visit @northsails_collection website. After work surfing session at home. Such a great feeling to be in the water, Sharing waves with the brothers from the hood, the place where we grew up and crew member and hood buddy @ryan_borne capturing those good times. We don’t have any skateparks on the island but for sure we do have great and funny wave-parks. #surfing #coralreef #coralgardeners
I spent the first couple of years of my life on a tiny atoll. My father and his pearl farm team were fishing almost every day to put food on our table. We were highly relying on the ocean to feed ourselves. I started fishing pretty early. It became a passion and a way of living. To me, catching your own food is one of the most sustainable ways to feed yourself. You choose and take only what you need. Being a part of the loop, of the ecosystem. Thanks, Mama Ocean for this gift and for taking care of us. First picture by @ryan_borne for @coralgardeners on my first @natgeo Explorer expedition. Two other pictures from our old pearl farm crew, my pirate uncles! #tuamotu #fishing #ocean #coralgardeners
Great things take time. These past four years building @coralgardeners I learned how to be patient and that doing great things is hard and it takes time. It’s so important to be passionate about what we are doing in order to keep pushing. So many things we are learning on this Journey. Can’t wait to share what we are working on at the moment. #innovation #coralgardeners #reefrestoration pc @ryan_borne
Just pure Love & Connection. Today is Shark Awareness Day. I love spending moments with those creatures. Sharks are some of the most wonderful creatures on our Planet. They are so important. As apex predators, sharks play an important role in the ecosystem by maintaining the species below them in the food chain. Here is a special moment captured by our photographer @ryan_borne with my ocean bro @denistemae Shooting for Coexistence film by @coralgardeners
Our video is now live on @coralgardeners account. This was one of the most beautiful moment of my life. Just being in the middle of the ocean with those two humpback whales and my island bro @temoanapoole So glad I could capture this. #whales #coralgardeners #underwater

There is a special feeling about exploring the ocean: pure joy & excitement! You never know what you are going to find beneath the surface. My buddy @temoanapoole and I love it! We have been working on a special project that we are going to release soon. It’s just crazy to be able to spend time with creatures like these. They look like giant birds or spaceships - just out of this world. So many beautiful things to discover underwater. This shot is a still from our @coralgardeners short film Coexistence, captured by @ryan_borne in the Tuamotu archipelago with our buddy @denistemae This Manta Ray in particular was really friendly and stayed with us for a long time. After seeing our pictures, @mantatrust reached out to us and asked to help them tag and monitor Manta population worldwide to better protect them. We had the opportunity to name this Manta Ray Moby. Great times. #coexistence #mantaray #wethereef
Growing up in the remote atolls or on an island like Mo’orea, my parents always had my brother and I close to the ocean. So thankful for all the time my friends and I got to spend in the water, learning how to observe nature. Picture by ocean mom @mitty #wethereef #coralgardeners
