Still one of my all time favorite powder rooms! This console sink is one of my go to plumbing selections. Its big, super functional, gorgeous and I especially love the faucet mount location. It shows of the jewelry of this brass plumbing quite nicely.
Taking a break to sit and just be in this gorgeous space. The Aspen Art Museum by Shigeru Ban is just as beautiful as the collections they curate. Stunning especially on a perfect fall day.
The more time I spend near mountain rivers, the more I understand why painters are drawn to them. The solid mass of the stones with clear moving water over them is quite something to behold.
Custom designed, locally made, solid walnut cocktail table of my dreams. Our client asked that the top be level with a hard line transition to the edge, vs. sloped. He said he didn't want to accidentally spill his cocktail. Smart guy. Thinking of adding a table like this (without the glass top) to our Saltwolf product line. Designers, what do you think? It would be available in walnut, white oak or charcoal oak (same finishes we currently offer).
So happy to finally be able to share all the yummy photos by @jonischrantz_spaces of this project we completed almost exactly one year ago. Working with @flowerarchitecture was a dream. Leather and linen nightstand with brass handle by @madegoods
Fall weekend in Aspen never disappoints. And that blue sky never gets old. #colorfulcolorado
I'm not known for neutral-palettes in my designs, I find color too evocative and interesting to omit it completely from interiors. However, when the architect designs a show-stopping ceiling like this, neutral furnishings are the only way to go. Friday night cocktail anyone? An old-fashioned is Jordan's signature drink and come Friday, I am ready for one myself. Room design by me @WestwardFoundry. Photographer @jonischrantz_spaces
Evening light as the sun slips below the Rocky Mountain foothills. Captured beautifully as always by the talented @smittenandswoon Linden sofa in indigo linen. Blanket by @pendleton
Morning light. I'm always sad when the coffee cup is empty. I'm someone who is not well-served with a lot of caffeine so I savor my one cup every morning as long as possible.
Good morning! Here's to finding joy and silly-ness in the daily grind. Mapleton chair in Performance velvet with natural oak base.
As a trained interior designer/interior architect, I used to become highly offended when someone called me a "decorator," or implied that I get paid to pick out pillows. I promise you that is not what designers spend most of their time doing. But now, with a little time and grace, I don't get my feathers ruffled. It is a good job. And, I do get to pick out pillows. Sometimes.
