Congratulations Paddy & Krystal! Dress by Opportunity Bridal. 📸@northparkfilms ・・・ Paddy and Krystal met back in 2012 during nursing school but only really started talking towards the end of there studies. This was another covid wedding where I only met the couple on the day of. However spending the day with them I got to see why these two mesh so well. The way Krystal spoke about Paddy and the vulnerability she displayed during the ceremony was deep and it left a room full of people quiet and focused on every word she said. It was enough to have Paddy say "wow that was good!" when she finished. The way she ended her vows was the equivalent of a mic drop, it was that good. From a creative stand point my favorite part about this wedding was the colors. Paddy's green suit and just the moody vibes of outside really gave me inspiration of how the color grade would come together. This was definitely a wedding I was excited to edit and I think it really came together well. Another thing I loved was the ending of the night. Paddy and his boys being avid cigar enthusiast decided that they wanted a shot where they lit a cigar. I decided to take it a step further and get artistic with the shot. What I decided to do instead was get a shot where they were back lit with light. Seeing the smoke with the whole bridal party as silhouette's was a vibe in itself and I figured this is a shot that I wont be able to get everyday. . . . . . Linds never seems to amaze me with how romantic she is! So often we are asked about who is wearing what for the wedding, expectations to wear a dress being a female, and judging based on looks. We believe what is most important is that we are comfortable, really being who we are. With that being said, I will be wearing a dress, while Linds is wearing a tux. One traditional thing we did stick with is that we will both be wearing white. xo Julie
