Straight out of a dream! Swimming with over 50 dolphins in Marsa Alam felt absolutely surreal! I always saw dolphins from a boat or something and the best you could do is whistle till your through runs dry and you can bearly see their fins from a distance. This was something else. Getting so close to them that I nearly looked one in the eye as it swam gently with its smiling rostrum. The connection was real! This lasted for over 2 hours of dolphins swimming near you from every direction. Dolphins are now one of my favorite animals ever. You can also try this experience, all you have to do is book a day trip to “Satayeh Dolphin house” which departs from Hamata port near Marsa Alam. The dolphin house is like a lagoon which is infested with dolphins so you have a very high chance to find them. The highest chance of seeing or swimming with dolphins in Egypt is right at this place.
