Our logo was created 5 years ago by combining a white triangle and a black triangle to create the ultimate pyramid (or the ultimate you). We chose the triangle because it is the strongest shape that exists in this reality as well as representing a balance in mind,body,spirit. It is our belief that in order to be your best/strongest self, you must combine both your dark and light aspects. Ultimately your light body and your shadow self must both be balanced and then fused together to create the best version of you. Hey all, happy new year! It's been a while 💛 2021 was one crazy year for us (as for many of you as well) and we are happy to be back in touch. As you may have noticed, we didn't post much on IG in 2021. For @modern__hippi 2021 was a year of contemplation, focus, and dedication. There were many challenges we were faced with and many questions we had to answer for ourselves. Owning a business takes a lot of heart and the last two years have been pretty heart wrenching for us. Here were some of the challenges we overcame: -20 Retailers Permanently closing -Website Being Hacked and losing 4 years worth of work (it was valued at $50,000 at the time) -Closing our studio location -Relocation attempt that ended disastrastly -Complete exhaustion on running in circles trying to keep our business afloat. -An upsurd amount of new businesses under the name Modern Hippie, Modern Hippy etc. We reached a crossroads where we were unsure whether to stay open or close our doors forever. It was a tough decision and through it all we've decided to embark on our 6th year in business! This year we have decided to make it more clear on what we do, and provide you with more value. Over the years, we have noticed that many people have a different idea of what we do. Some know us for yoga events, others for our boutique items, and then there are some that know us for our meditation events. As a multifaceted business, we understand that sometimes things can get lost in translation. In 2022 our goal is to us this IG to help provide more value to our followers. To provide more of the essence of what it means to be a Modern Hippi.
