Downstairs is Dodoo kitchen ( wanna return and try!), upstairs is the new not-so-VCR-design-punya-VCR 😂 but we like it! Colourful & fun, especially love the skylight. Has been seeing some cafes installing this, feel like having one too 😅 . Coffee is good ( and with a surprisingly affordable price compared to some new cafes with nice interior but meh coffee). Must try Pusing and Matcha Canele 😬

Have been looking forward to dine here and enjoy the “million dollar view” of Pavilion KL. #SwipeLeft 🥰Just a little too hot for weather recently 😂 . Had Golden Soft Shell Crab Croissant and Japanese Grilled Eel & Strawberry Pizza, then shared the top-selling jiggy souffle 😎. All are good! . Staff recommended us to try their Rhododendron Coffee- which is the creative coffee champion of 2010 Asian Coffee Competition. Love the refreshing note with peach, roselle, espresso . The cafe gets pretty crowded by noon during weekend so come early around 10AM-11AM if you want to enjoy chilling, quiet early brunch.

Illy is well-known for their coffee but do you know that their cafes also offer savories like pasta, egg benedict, sandwiches, etc? Some of them with local touch too like the Grilled Chicken Percik Focaccia Sandwich . And the fun fact- croissant here is freshly made by one of the World Champiom Pastry chef. Dessert is surprisingly amazing. Was told it was from a famous dessert chef, who has a shop Damansara. *guess it 😎 . We’ve got a promo code for you too. Love every course here - all beautifully presented, painstakingly crafted with lots of thoughts and efforts. We get to taste some of the freshest seasonal ingredients, imported from Japan. And premium caviar from France and Spain 😍 . Highly recommended place for omakase in town. Chef is very knowledgeable and friendly, shared with us a lot about each dish. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thanks TaKeEn, Chef Thomas & team for the wonderful dinner!

Summerkid’s fav is Australian Lamb Saddle MB2 (RM100). Must-try the 14 Days Aged Duck Breast (RM70)- was thinking to skip this at first but luckily we ordered, top pick!; and Pork Cheek (RM65) . Thought of beef too but minimum order is 200g. Don’t think we can finish will save for next round! P/s: menu has slight changes too, so some of the items we wanted to order is no longer on the list. Just FYI 😬
