According to CCSA, in the very near future, the Thai embassies will start issuing COEs for tourists who have passports vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine, which will significantly affect the number of Russian guests coming to Phuket. During the forced stop of tourism in Phuket, construction and improvement work did not stop. Overhaul of the road surface was carried out in Patong, Karon, Kata, Rawai, Kamala, Cherngtalay districts. The largest water park on the island in the Kathu region is almost completely built. Redecoration and renovation of most large chain and small private hotels has been carried out. The “respite” also greatly influenced the nature of the island, the underwater world and the ecosystem. Special attention is paid to antiviral safety. More than 75% of the population (including foreigners) are fully vaccinated. A special protocol has been developed for responding to outbreaks of the disease, its localization and timely therapy in all hospitals in Phuket. Restrictive measures are aimed at preserving international air traffic, blocking, if necessary, domestic air travel, land entry and maritime arrivals.
