On view now at LOOT Zihuatanejo: Riley Miller aka Rilo (@arte.rilo) is a visual artist and muralist from San Francisco based in and around Mexico. His most recent collection was developed and created during Mexilog Fest 2023 in La Saladita, and can function as a unit or work in spaces entirely on their own. Rilo on his style of painting: “In college I was really drawn to my art history classes on Neolith art. I was interested in the primacy of it, how you could “get it” no matter who you were, and how it always expressed the most basic and unchangeable qualities that make us human, no matter how embarrassing those qualities may be.
