How it started ➡️ how it’s going. Our little rainbow baby is 8. She’s cheerful, kind, outgoing, adventurous, smart… she’s everything I wished for and then some. Happy birthday Chloe! He came into my life when I was 2. I called him “Mi Alex” (my Alex). He treated me like his son from the beginning and never stopped. He left Mexico with my mom, when I was 8, so I could have a better life. He held two-three jobs at a time to just put food on the table. He taught me to be goofy and to not let things take my happiness away. He taught me how to treat women, because he’s always treated my mom and sister with the upmost respect. I tried my hardest to show him that his sacrifices were worth it. I wish every kid without a dad or father figure finds their “Alex”. Today is a good day because it’s his birthday :) glad you were born! Love you pa!

No matter what happens in my life, I choose these two over anything, every single time. Here’s to all the dads who play with their kids when they’re too tired after work. To those who hunt for monsters under the bed every night. To those who play make believe. To those working extra hours just to put food on the table. To those who spend nights tossing and turning worrying about what the future holds. Parenting isn’t easy, but most things that are worth it hardly ever are.
