📍Guasa in Mercato Metropolitano (London, UK) Mercato Metropolitano in Elephant and Castle was London's first sustainable community market. Housed in a formerly abandoned paper factory site, they have built one of the city's ladgest (partially covered) outdoor areas. • Vegan Jackfruit Apera
📍Cahoots (Soho London, UK) An underground speakeasy, Cahoots is a 1940s-themed bar located in the heart of London’s Soho. Try their Cahooch Carrier at your own risk 👀 🚂 🥃 • Arancini • Truffle Chips with parmesan • Potato Croquettes • Cahooch Carrier (6 shots delivered in a 1946 tube carriage)
📍Ave Mario (London, UK) Tried another one of @bigmamma.uk ‘s restaurants, and once again, it did not disappoint. We also tried some of the focaccia, which isn't pictured, but was made to perfection 🤌🏻 • Mafaldine Al Tartufo (House special fresh mafalda, black Molise truffle, indulgent truffle and mascarpone cream) • Messiah Margherita (San Marzano tomato, mozzarella di bufala, fresh basil and parmigiano)
📍Milk London (Balham, London) Don't be fooled by the queue, it went surprisingly fast and was so worth the wait. We were unable to try the pancakes (which change weekly) so I'll have to go back for those 😌 • Young betty (poached eggs on sourdough with burnt butter hollandaise and seasonal greens) • Moxon's smoked salmon schmear (on Brixton sourdough with caperberries, pickled onions, and watercress) • Hash browns
📍Origano Cafe and Pizzaria (Edinburgh, UK) Checking out one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Edinburgh, on Leith walk. Fuelling up before my dad and I drove down to London to move into my new flat. • Pizza Funghi (mushroom, garlic, truffle oil, and parsley) • Pizza Napoli (black olives, anchovies, capers, garlic, santos tomatoes, and basil) • Affogato (with Limoncello)
📍White Lion (Finsbury in London, UK) We grabbed some pub grub after spending the afternoon in the park. Can't recommend the Mac and Cheese bites enough 🧀 • Mac n Cheese bites, smoked paprika sauce • Salt & pepper squid, chilli, spring onion, aioli • Caramelised balsamic red onion & goats cheese tart (v)
📍Garden Bar (London, UK) We celebrated St. Jean (aka La Fête nationale du Québec) here in London yesterday! Hosted at Garden Bar in Shepherd's Bush. Had to get a poutine of course
