We then put some olive soda to make it fizzy, light and interesting. FLIRTY & DIRTY To-Do: Enjoy a picnic! We start with the first two cocktails of our new spring & summer menu. The Flirty is a super easy, but super delicious twist of a sgroppino. The new Hendricks Flora Adora Gin has a lot of flowery notes and matches perfectly the sweet & sour pepper-cordial. We then top it off with prosecco to create a bubbly and refreshing cocktail. A red bell pepper & cranberry ice rose as a garnish gives this elegant drink its final touch. The Dirty on the other hand, is a savory twist on a dirty martini. We use Hendricks as the main ingredient. Lemongrass, olives and green tea add a lot of tasty layers. A clear soy-sauce gives the drink the right amount of saltiness. As a garnish we fill the beautiful glass petals with an olive and green tea gel. Cheers!
FINALLY This week we released our new spring/summer menu. It contains a To-Do list, for the warm days ahead. For every To-Do, we created a matching cocktail. We have drinks inspired by tacos and cocktails, that will make you feel like jumping into a cold lake. We are sure that you will find the proper drink for you in our self-designed little notebook. TEPACHE At Felix we love to work with fresh ingredients. We have a spritz with fresh mangos, use homemade raspberry cordials or in this case, we make tepaches. We use the leftovers of pineapples and mix it with sugar, spices and water - let it sit for a few days till it starts to ferment. Then we strain and bottle it. The result, tepache. A fermented, fruity drink full of spices and a nice funky touch. You can drink it like this or use it for cocktails like we did. We stir the tepache with gin, white vermouth and ancho reyes for that extra kick of spice and serve it in an ice cold tumbler. Muy caliente - how we love it!
