When I first visited Kiyosato, I decided to come back every summer to escape the Tokyo heat🥵 Here you can enjoy the cool summer breeze high up in the mountains which are popular as ski resorts in winter✨ At Hananosato, the chair lift takes you up to an area covered in colorful wildflowers in summer (swipe to see my selfie with a bee 😛🐝). And there’s a walking course that winds around the lush greenery which is so refreshing! I even spotted Mt.Fuji. At Kiyosato Terrace, you can relax and marvel at the breathtaking panoramic view from an altitude of 1,900 meters! You can stretch your legs on the large sofas and enjoy coffee and sweets🩵 Is it your kind of holiday? Japan is a mountainous country and there are so many places you can enjoy the beauty of summer!

Amazing art of nature✨ Fukiware Falls is coined as the “Niagara of the East” dropping seven meters in a cascade 30 meters wide merging to form a V shape. You can enjoy the view from different angles along the riverside walking trail - it felt like I could almost get swallowed into the falls! Fukiware Falls’ basin has long been believed to lead to Ryugu, the underwater palace of the Dragon. The legend has it that the villages near by would borrow tableware from Ryugu for special occasions by throwing in a request letter into a basin. The following day, the villagers would find a set of tableware on the rock by the falls. One day, the villagers borrowed a set of tableware, but forgot to return just one. Since then, it is said that Ryugu never rented out their tableware again. A cheerful yellow carpet spreads out over the entire slope. It’s like the sound of music 🌼 Norn Minakami Ski Resort is one of the closest Ski resort from Tokyo located in Gunma Prefecture. It’s covered in snow until March but something beautiful is waiting to paint the entire ski slopes.. When snow finally melts, it changes into the flower garden in Spring! 1,000,000 daffodils with 70 varieties are in bloom from late April to early May.
