Sharing the #EjiroAmosTafiri story, my experience building this brand, alongside Gill Quarcoopome (@gillquarcoopome), Kibonen Nfi (@kibonen.nfi), and Roselynd Laubhouet (@roselynd_dior) at #LagosLeatherFair's 'Telling the African Story, One Designer at a Time' Masterclass...... it never gets old. It is all not lost on me either, how far we have come despite the ODDs...... and how much more there is to attain. Resilence, Adaptability and unwavering Faith were the virtues across-the-board of the African Designers ....seeking global relevance and acceptance. We came to a realization that the issues are the same, and the pathways to progress apply across state lines: -Better legislations that protects and supports our industry. - Need for constant refinement of knowledge and adoption of best international practices amongst others. I hope that those who were in the room found it as educative and inspiring as I did. I definitely had a thing or two to learn from the other panelists. I attended the event with my mini in tow -the stylish Miné who was the star of the evening and had so much fun.
