In no doubt the dive site: Dili Pinnacle has a special place in our heart! . Back in 2015 while we were tourist in town our dear friend and manager at the time of Dive Timor invited us to “explore” for new sites, one of them was some old coordinates for a pinnacle just 5minutes from Dili port! So we went to check it out, after some driving around with depth finder we got visual on it and down we went… it was then a hectic dive with super strong current but from the moment we hit the dive site we...

It’s been a while!!! …. Far too long indeed…. . Months of lockdowns followed by a strong come back to work kept us from posting on this media yet last few days we’ve had a special event we MUST share! . For the first time in #timorleste dive operators got together and organised some expeditions to explore and map some new dive sites! . All thanks to the support of @mdfglobal . Our first out of four expeditions ended yesterday and it was a total success, we not only have expanded our list of...
Still remember the first time we got to see an Anemone fish -for some of us it was in Egypt, others in Thailand and for others it was right here in Timor Leste where we have 7 different species! Clark’s, Orange Skunk, Saddleback, Ocellaris ir false clown, Pink Skunk, Black back and this guy on the photo; the Spinecheek Anemonefish - Premnas Biaculeatus which has a particularly interesting evolution as it differs from its relatives from the presence of a little spine on his face! Sort of strange ...
We have reached a full lockdown in #timorleste due to the famous virus reaching local transmission for the first time. This of course has a huge impact on our service industry yet we will #staystrong and push through the challenges ahead so we can continue to serve our fellow divers, operators, local communities and above all our efforts of conservation. . Meanwhile, aside from finding solutions to survive 😅 .... we can process more of our identification shots!!! Like this one! ❤️🐠🇹🇱🌊 . The firs...
