Went to Byron with my family for a few days 🤍 Travelling with a 6 month old puppy is not easy and a little pre-planning had to be done to ensure we could bring her everywhere we went, so here’s a little rundown of our trip (with ratings for reference) if you also want to organise a puppy friendly holiday: Where we stayed: belongil beach 🐶🐶🐶🐶 Super puppy friendly! Quite a few Airbnb’s in this area of town are fine with you staying with your furry family member & it’s located on the street of a dog beach! Where we ate: Treehouse 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶 located a short stroll from any accommodation in belongil. dog friendly with undercover seating options (in case Mother Nature decides to do her thing ⛈) yummy pizza (& other food options but the pizza is a must), lovely waitstaff, nice relaxed vibe 🏝 @treehouseonbelongil_byronbay Raes 🐶🐶🐶🐶 The only thing that brings this score down to 4 is that you can’t book a table outside. If you’re planning to go there, choose a nice sunny day and get there early to quickly snap up a table. Delicious food on the bar menu and impeccable service! raesonwategos The Farm 🐶🐶🐶🐶 Very busy and service is slower as a result, dogs are allowed to sit outside but you’re not allowed to hold them while seated.. 🧐 Nice food but not a extensive breaky menu, for vegetarian options anyway 😕 I ended up getting a croissant, adding an egg, halloumi & sriracha (it was delish!) what makes this place so great though is being able to take your pup to see the animals, Margot was stoked! @thefarmatbyronbay Bang Bang 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶 DELICIOUS, can’t recommend this place enough- every dish we tried was insane!! Comfy high stools available outside, partly undercover so could tolerate a bit of drizzle but not a storm. Friendly staff, nice warm gas heaters & did I mention the food?? (Tip: due to the high stools, If your pup is small, bring a big basket to put them in so they can sleep next to you on the chair) @bangbangrestaurants

happy birthday bestie, (older 👵🏼😜) sister I always wanted, stand in mum (for my forgetful ass locking myself out of my apartment at 9pm & making up a bed for me to sleep in.. plus many other embarrassing times 🧐), travel buddy, soul mate etc etc etc 💘 Although long distance suckkkksss I am sure we will be together again in no time.
