Hi all, I've been quiet online of late, and definitely overdue for an update. What's happening with me down in Tassie? Well, I've been working on a couple of fun commercial client commissions - I'll share these with you when the client publishes them👍 I haven't yet finished writing my novel, but feel I was making good progress until....baby Stella joined our family last week🥰 We are all smitten, including her big brother who calls her "tiny little cute"💕 Safe to say I'll be fairly quiet over here for the next while though I look forward to getting back to creating post maternity leave 👍☺️🎨

Woohoo🥂🥂 This was my first time entering this competition, and I had been at a bit of a crossroads with my writing. Being shortlisted was a huge confidence boost, so much so I decided to write a mystery novel for adults as part of NanoWrimo (I'm about 6,000 words off the "winning" 50,000 count with 3 days left to finish... though there'll still be months of editing and rewriting to polish the manuscript afterwards).
