The Titanic-bound submersible that went missing on Sunday with five people on board suffered a “catastrophic implosion,” killing everyone on board, US Coast Guard Rear Adm. John Mauger said Thursday. A remotely operated vehicle found the tail cone about 1,600 feet away from the bow of the shipwreck, Mauger said. “Our friends and fellow Explorers Club members Hamish Harding and Paul-Henri Nargeolet are lost, along with Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, while trying to reach the RMS Titanic,” President Richard Garriott de Cayeux said in a statement. He thanked the many groups involved in the search and rescue mission and the many others around the world “who have mobilized personnel and resources to support the search and rescue.” The Titan began its descent Sunday to explore the wreckage of the Titanic, located about 13,000 feet below sea level in the Atlantic.

Felix Orinda (DJ Evolve), has today told a Nairobi court (virtually) that he never saw Embakasi East MP Babu Owino with a gun the morning he (DJ Evolve) was shot at a Kilimani club in January 2020. DJ Evolve further added that he does not remember what happened inside the night club, he only found himself in an ambulance being rushed to hospital. The entertainer however admitted that he was shot and injured, but he cannot tell who pulled the trigger. Previously, Babu Owino had told the same court that on the fateful day, his firearm had jammed and was not working. While giving his testimony as a defence witness in a misuse of firearm case against Babu Owino, DJ Evolve acknowledged the support he has received from the lawmaker. “I was injured by a bullet but I don't know from which gun. I just found myself in an ambulance to hospital. Later I came to find out that Babu Owino was supporting me. I have so far received medical care, my utilities and general well-being have been taken care of. I'm giving out this testimony voluntarily,” - DJ Evolve

Kenya and Netflix Africa have signed an agreement which puts to an end of streaming of LGBTQ-specific movies, this, being in compliance with the Kenya’s current laws on LGBTQ. The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) considers LGBTQ content under the “Restricted Category” that is not allowed for broadcast, exhibition and distribution to the public because it glorifies, normalizes, promotes and propagates homosexuality which is against the law. “After signing the agreement, they (Netflix) are already developing a classification system that is aligned with the local classification standards so that every film on Netflix will be Kenyan ratings once it is in place,” - KFCB

Ismael Kingeno Langat, a 21-year-old man in Bomet has hacked his 25-year-old wife to death for allegedly flirting with her male friends on her Facebook account. Police say Ismael attacked his partner with a machette after arriving home from a nearby college where she studies.
