A huge thank you to Gareth for letting me join at short notice and for a wonderfully informative and enjoyable course. It wasn’t what I was expecting and really opened my eyes to a different way of thinking. Although I had been subconsciously doing some of the things in the course but I now know why and I’ve learnt so much. It’s great to be a student again and I can’t wait to incorporate my learnings into my upcoming #techdiver classes. I think the Human Factors course should be a key part of any Instructors development and will be recommending it to all new instructor candidates this year. What a fantastic weekend!! Thanks to everyone involved and my fellow participants. Just another way to prepare yourself for the rigours of technical diving.

A huge shout to @vasil_demirov for all the training tips, help and advice in getting me back to being #divefit for my upcoming technical diving trips. Vas’s dedication is without question and has resulted in him placing 7th in the @arnoldsportsuk , 1st in @npcbulgaria and 2nd in @2brospro_events. I don’t look anything like him but the point is he knows his s**t! 😂 We have a similar mindset and focus and he’s easy to work with. All dreams start with an idea and self belief, determination carries us through. I can thoroughly recommend some #personaltraining @snapfitnesscirencester with this fella. Train with the best it makes a difference ! Congrats again mate and thanks for the support.

@samuel._.mason and I working our way into the Aber Las mine in North Wales. Safely shepherded by @michael_thomas1946 and @rob_thomas13 . 8/ 9 degrees in this one and only had cold fingers because I brought the wrong gloves!! A lot colder than I'm used to but thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Cheers fellas !!

What an amazing experience this past week mine diving ! A huge thank you to @michael_thomas1946 for his patience and expertise and to @rob_thomas13 for for showing us the way. Great to be back in the water with my mate @samuel._.mason , laughing all day and night. I thoroughly recommend diving and learning with these chaps. Truly epic. See you soon fellas!!

Me and dad enjoying a beer post dive a few years ago. I was recently asked who is my biggest influence / inspiration on my diving career. Many would answer that it was the person who taught them or a celebrity diver, author, record holder, a big name on the dive circuit or an explorer. For me it was my dad. He said I was a dreamer and to do what makes me happy. He encouraged me to do a job many consider is not a “real job” he supported me, dived with me ( held my hand during open water dive 1 😂) and listened to me. He was as happy as I was when I got my first tech instructor job @bluemarlindivegilit and set up @bluemarlindivetech with Simon Liddiard. But the thing that drove me on was how proud he was. I realise now that he’s gone that all I ever really wanted was to make him proud. 1 year on I think of you every day. The bravest man I knew xx

Congratularions on a truly fantastic achievement by @craigchamberlain94 on smashing his #tdidivers #ccr Advanced Mixed Gas course !! I grilled him and drilled him for 3 weeks and he took it all in his stride with an open mind and a superb attitude. Well done Craig it’s been a real pleasure to work with you. Had a busy week diving and teaching and happy to say The Canyon is still there and as beautiful as ever. Thank you @nitsrekolbrich for the amazing capture of me and @83mooki hovering in the bubbles (Not our ccr’s!!) coming up from the crack in the sea bed. I’m sending lots of positive vibes to all my friends and colleagues today on #gilitrawangan . Today is the 2 year anniversary of the Lombok earthquake and I’m proud to see everyone holding fast and sticking together in yet another tough time. Where would we be without friends and family ?

It’s been a real pleasure working with @blue_ringed_platypus over the past 10 days to achieve his TDI Air Diluent Decompression and Helitrox certifications on the @jjccr_official #rebreather. Lots of respect due to Colin for all his patience, hard work and perseverance. A job well done if ever I saw one. Congratulations mate. Thanks to @craigchamberlain94 for the photo and being a good buddy and to @suessandreas and @nitsrekolbrich for logistical support whilst training out of @teamblueimmersion.
