Most of you may have heard of the #NationalHonorSociety for high school students but how many of you heard of the #NationalHonorSocietyForDanceArts 🤩 Paving the way, and presenting endless opportunities is and will FOREVER be the GOAL! When someone asked me what my purpose was, I smiled and said “My purpose is to guide and teach and my platform is the youth”. Both artistically and academically! ❤️ Dancers it’s up! Being in Washington D.C for the cherry blossom I can’t lie I was nervous and sadden at the fact that I couldn’t physically be there to support, promote and encourage, but my assistant, parents and dancers reassure our practices were in vein and they were there for an ultimate goal, and conquered! 3 Platinums 1 High Gold 2 Judges Awards (Hometown & Electrifying) Overall Top Scorer 1st Place Champion Shooting Star 4th Place Advanced 13-15 8th Place Rising 13-15 Clap it up one time for my company girls! … WOW 🥹 Where do I even start? I’m honestly still speechless! Awed, none the less! For Four years, in high school I traveled here to be apart of the cherry blossom parade! So talk about full circle! 🥹 To be selected for something so major, sent music, told to choreograph, select costumes and be apart of something so major… man! 😩🔥 Big #BBDA_ not the little one! The costumes were perfect! These kids danced to a live performer for the first time in their dance careers! Well behaved. Well accepted! An experience! Alhamdulillah for the opportunity, forever backing mine! Szn 10, doing it’s big ONE, literally!!
