1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
I Vidur Sirohi, professionally engaged in marketing as a Consultant at RestroMark Agency and personally fond of food. Hence, a blogger at social networking site. I remember growing up in a district of UP and relishing those home cooked delicacies made by my dearest mom. Coming from a Jaat community, I have been always privileged enough to experience those rich food of my culture, those desi ghee ke parathe, doodh, kheer etc. Now I put up in Gurugram former Gurgaon, spends lot of time in discovering new eateries etc.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
Grasping knowledge about my country, culture, food (to be precise-its food and food) etc is something that I love indulging into. Through travelling and exploring to the various places be it a chai stall at nukkad (street corner) or visiting some top notch restaurant/cafe or bar. I get involve in building my knowledge bank about food and brands. Definitely, reading and watching television adds more to it. I like to keep myself updated as much as possible.
My instagram feed is full of food pictures that I explore on regular basis and some of the brands which are reliable.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
Lots of thoughts ran in my mind when I was thinking about the name of my page. First thought and also the word that I associated with the most was “HUNGER”. As maslow theory – Hierarchy of needs, rightly points to the physiological needs of a human to be fulfil and then reaching the stage of salvation. And hunger as the basic need of human I therefore, believe that my page should have something related with hunger. Hence, the word “Bhooka” came along with the word “Jaat” related with my community. The “BHOOKAJAAT” name of my account of Instagram came into existence.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
To be honest, I prefer capturing the picture and use it without editing. I believe as long as one knows the purpose of capturing and presenting the subject aling with the thought, there is no need of editing. But sometimes due to several reasons be it lighting, people around or any other thing, I ends up using apps. I use Adobe Light room, Pixlr and Snapseed. I prefer after photo shoots and sometimes on locations to do all the edits. I do time also to observe the surroundings, noted down and then accordingly make following edits.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
Well, one of my favourite Instagrammer is Foodieincarnate and the person behind it Amar Sirohi. He brings in forefront the local food from the corner of streets with 100% genuine review about it. If its good then its good and if its bad then its bad. No doubt on it. His enthusiasm to reach every corner of Delhi and bring the finest food to the people is just amazing. Its truly commendable.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
Being an influencer is really a big task and comes with lots of responsibilities. Favourite part is definitely giving people genuine advice or review about something that benefits both the manufacturer and consumer.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
Top tips for brands to running campaigns would be –
Be 100% genuine about the product and its details.
Be updated on social media as most of the population in urban set up uses it for the news or information bit.
Keep the consistency of the advertising and promotions through social media.
Keep customers happy always.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
Quality and Originality is the most important factor that influence every one in some or the other way. It should be maintain all the time. If these two things wont exist then its a complete failure.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
Partnership with brands gives the opportunity to know about their products, its pros and cons if at all exists. The relationship that builds amongs we as influencers /consultants with the brands that share the idea/things/products with the entire population is something really great. The bond of trust with the manufacturer and reviewer which reaches to the consumer is commendable.
