Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Abhishek Khanna @abhishekhanna

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I was working for 15 years in a corporate role at a very senior position. In Sept 2016 I left my job. After that I travelled for a month road tripping Rajasthan. In Feb 2017 I decided to take up my passion which is photography as a profession. Now, I am a Food Stylist and a Food Photographer, I also shoot interiors, products and of course pictures of my travel. I am married and have 2 kids, but that doesn’t change who I am. I love breaking stereotypes!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I generally post about Food and Travel. When I am not traveling I usually head out in the streets of Delhi or nearby capturing monuments and people. I also love to write and share my experiences and stories behind the photos I click.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I wanted it to be my name

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Lightroom and little bit of editing on phone through the Instagram tools.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Couple of them, I love content by @abhiandnow, @passionateaboutbaking, @muddychoux, @radha.swami, @thugbong, @still_life_gallery_ to name a few

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Always create content that you like, dont post with the objective of getting likes or followers.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I get to share my experience with others.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Dont push the product in a cold sales kind of way, let the influencers write their heart out and share a true experience. True experiences will always connect better with the audience. The audience can make out when its scripted and when its from the heart.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality matters, before sharing something ask yourself if you are proud of the work you have done.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

One gets to experience new products before they go out into the market. You can have a hands on experience of products/services and share it with others.
