1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hey! ^_^ My name is TeQuan. I currently reside in Miami, FL. I do quite a few things. I’m the City Lead Hairstylist for a company called Glamsquad. I am also signed to an Artist Agency by the name of ABTP where I do hair for celebs, TV, Mags, Runway, Fashion, etc. I was recently signed to DAS Modeling agency here in Miami, FL. I’m a brand ambassador as well as a part time photographer. Needless to say, i like to stay busy.

In my freetime, I love longboarding, hanging by the beach or doing Crossfit Bootcamp.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

lifestyle, fashion, or travel.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s my name!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually use snapseed to balance my colors and lighting. Then i’ll move over to Face-tune to do any smoothing or detailing.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I get to engage with people from all over the world. It’s great. I’ve built some friendships, and I look forward to visiting some of my followers when I travel.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Be as detailed as possible with what you’re wanting. From the hashtags to the @tags and everything in between. Also, try and build a lasting relationship with the influencer rather than a one off post. It really builds faith in the product when an influencer can post more than once about your brand.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

There are so many influencers who bite off each other’s style. For me, my pictures can’t be like anyone else’s. I’m always willing to push the envelope just to be different. It truly speaks to who you are as an influencer building a name for yourself. I mean, we can all take a picture of a watch on our wrists with a beautiful backdrop. *Eye Roll*

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The freedom of expression with their product. Obviously there are some rules and regulations to follow with some brands, but at the end of the day, I get to be creative and shoot something dope for a brand that I actually believe in.
