Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Ozlem Ethemsoy @ozinfashionx

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a 33 year old girl from North London and have been working in law most of my working life. I am originally from Cyprus and have now left my law job to become a fulltime blogger.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My main interest is fashion but I want to start posting about travel, beauty and restaurants.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I had an online boutique and when I created a personal instagram, I didn’t know what to put. So I thought Oz is short for my name and I am in fashion. Oz in fashion 🙂

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t really edit them but have been introduced to VSCO which I absolutely love!!! I am still learning the editing routing!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I love Sarah Ashcroft (That Pommir Girl) and Kenzas. They are beautiful, inspiring and fun!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Instagram Story! I LOVE IT!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Inspiring people to be creative with what they wear.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I do recommend brands use new bloggers as people are constantly searching for someone new to be inspired by (it also helps us newbies too 🙂 ). I maintain my authenticity I guess by how I look and I am not sucked into the fake lips, fake boobs saga….yet! Although I don’t feel I need it anyway.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

So your content represents you as a person, so if you are using others content and photos that are not great quality, or fun, it is really not going to reflect greatly on you.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love meeting new people in the industry, working with their ideas and just having fun!
