Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Ruffa Jane La Peña Reyes @janeration

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi! Im Ruffa Jane La Peña Reyes. Most of my friends calls me “Opak” My official nickname. I was born from the Northern Part of Luzon, Roxas Isabela. I stayed here in MNL since I was college.
Im in love with art because it’s one of my passion. And I engage in creative industry. My expertise is in digital arts embracing the different softwares of Adobe. Haha. I love everything in designs, in the world of art.
After 5 years, now I am unemployed. A huge decision and transition of this season of my life felt that need– to explore more, to get out of my comfort zone, to see things beyond and engage to every opportunities. There is more than just facing your computer everyday. 😊

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love photography, and that is one way of expressing my interests and stories. A way of unleashing my character and personality. The food i eat, what i love to do,fashion,the places ive been and people I cherish. These are my IG posts.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Just being witty. So i came up with a bold but wit name, “janeration” that of course includes my 2nd name, Jane.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I used to explore Snapseed before. It was recommended by my friend who also happens to be a travelbug. I love how he edits his photos, and now, i explore more and so i love adobe, now i used Adobe Lightroom. I have this app on my phone and software in laptop. Most of the time, i use the app more than the software because I don’t have my laptop all the time. Sure ill share it! Most of my IG friends are asking me how i edit my photos, so soon ill be sharing it.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Too many to mention. Most of them are bloggers/vloggers, some of them are celebs which happens, as i observed, they are being creative the way they post on IG. ((:

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I want them to try and explore of this editing app, adobe LR. As a graphic artist, somehow i want to share it to them. Coz most of them are interested on how the way i edit my photos.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part is when some of my friends/followers are engaging with my captions and IG pics. They interact because somehow i gave an impact. 😊

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

As an advertising student before , just dont give false advertisement. Give them True hope not false hope.
Being authentic is to knowing my identity. If you know your identity then you are being authentic. Love yourself and be yourself. Be an inspiration.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

My advice for sure is that first, it always has to tell a story.
2ndly, if it has a story, it has a seed that would plant in the heart of the audience.
3rdly… an impact which would be a life changing content.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

To be honest, a paid partnership. Haha. The relationship we can build,helping them to lift the brand and of course ENGAGING with the brand. Coz i believe in the work of a TEAM and UNITY.
