1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
What’s up. I’m Paul. I’m an 18 year old Nigerian that resides in Maryland. I upload funny skits on social media that almost anyone can relate to. I probably have at least 1 video that you can wath and say “That happened to me before!”
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
Most of my skits are African related. I’m Nigerian so I just make skits that depict situations that most African kids go through.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
I tried so hard to come up with a cool nickname for myself for the longest and I couldn’t ever think of one that didn’t sound cheesy so I just added king to the beginning of my name and stuck with it. Gladly, nobody ever really found it corny.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I don’t use apps to edit my photos. I just use the editing tools that are available on then iPhone. I change the blackpoint of my pictures under the “light” option and use the “color” option to give my photo a nice filter.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
in my opinion, the funniest person on Instagram is Dooley. There’s not one video that he uploads that I don’t laugh out loud to.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
Y’all have to try jollof rice. It’s a bomb African dish and once you try it, you’ll love it!
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
My favorite part of being an influencer is being able to actually influence people. The positive feedback that I get from peoplenis amazing and keeps me motivated to continue with my craft. Knowing that I help brighten people’s moods makes me feel so good.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
I advise any brand to just stay consistent and intent. Always be relevant and know exactly what you want to do and how you’ll do it.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
My advice is to always make sure that your quality it the best that you can do. If your quality is good, then your outcome will be great. Stat original andnbe creative. Don’t try to be like anyone else because you’re unique yourself.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
I love just being able to help out. When I started trying to aquire fame nobody really helped me out and I know how hard it is to trynto get it on your own so I’m always willing to lend a helping hand.
