1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
Hello everyone, so my name is Emma. I’m 19 and I’m French. I live in between Paris where I was born and grew up and Le Havre where I attend uni this year. So I’m in my first year of biology, I also have the chance to study Japanese and do some argentic photography this year.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
I started Instagram one year and half ago and at the time I would post absolutely anything hahah
Now, I take this a little more seriously, let’s say. For example, I started to have themes for my feed, it makes it harder but also so pleasing and satisfying when you look back at your page. So depending on the theme I’m on, I would choose to post something over some other thing. But I basically stay true to myself and post what I love and what I want to share with my followers.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
My Instagram is really unoriginal, it’s just the first two letters of my first name and my last name without the vowels. Maybe I’ll change it one day, who knows?
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I’m a really big fan of VSCO since I discovered it. I also have an other app called UNUM who helps me organize my feed, which is very helpful!
For my photo-editing routine, it really depends on the theme and on the quality of the photo. So with one of last theme which had a dark vibe to it, I would have deemed the light, change the contrast a bit and maybe change the saturation. But for the current theme I have, I like to actually brighten the pic, and of course change the contrast and the saturation but then again it really depends on the picture I’m starting with. But the important thing is that it still looks natural, goes well with the other pictures of the theme and of course that you’re happy with it.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
I really like @aliencreature’s work. I found it truly inspiring and harmonious.
I also really look up to @laurencalaway. I think she’s a beautiful person, in and out, and that she’s a good role model for little girls or girls in general.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
Well, I think if you still haven’t tried VSCO yet, you’re really missing out on something. So I would say to just go and give it a try!
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
I really like when people comments or dm me how much they enjoy one specific pic or my whole page in general. Either way, it’s really rewarding to see that some people like what I’m doing and to inspire them in some way.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
You have to really pick someone that relate to the brand or the product, someone who can actually enjoy it. It’s easier for the influencer to talk about a product they like; that way, it’s more authentic and honest.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
The best advice I can give for the quality of a picture is the light. It really changes everything. Then, I would say to be aware of every little details we can see in the picture and trying to make it as perfect as it can get.
For the original content, I think you just have to post what you like, what you think would look good or even something that you think will make people happy.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
I have to admit I still havent work with a brand yet. But I really like the idea of trying something out and sharing my opinion with people.
