1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
I’m a 23-year-old lazy daisy, wandering about with no exact destination. Let’s just say, whatever floats my boat. I don’t do anything much. I work 8 hours (sometimes less) a day with no savings on my bank account because my job doesn’t give me that much opportunity. I’m just a small town girl living in a small city in the Philippines.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
Beauty, lifestyle, and travel tickles my fancy. My Instagram shows you just that, although it needs more improvement — caption-wise and content-wise. That’s why there’s Instagram! Its mere existence gives you that much opportunity — to continue to learn and improve.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
It is as random as it sounds. An old friend used to call me that and after a few years, it came back to my mind and just stuck. Since then, it got stuck on everyone who followed me, and started to feel like my own brand.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
Depending on the quality of the photo, usually I just use my phone and let the sun do its wonders, I only do minimal edits (brightness, contrast, etc.). But if it requires a bit of tweaking, VSCO saves the day and, of course, Instagram for the finishing touches. As much as possible, I avoid using filters. That’s why I try to take photos in the best natural lighting.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
I actually don’t have anyone in particular. I appreciate every account that I follow.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
The use of natural lighting and not much of filters.
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
Being able to share a piece of your life and hopefully give people a ray of sunshine.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
Engage as much as possible to the audience. Find where their soft spots are. Make your own statement that would stick to everyone’s mind. It’s all about the audience.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
Be who you are because it will really show on the outside. It may take time and you might cross rough waters, but you will get there.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
More opportunities to show and prove yourself, and being able to share a piece of yourself with the hopes of inspiring.
