Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Kaley @Ghost.kae

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I enjoy posting about my life which consists of makeup, fashion, and art! I’m from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and I’ve been working on getting into modeling.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love creativity a lot. Whether it’s music, art, fashion, I just love the ability to create. I post mostly fashion/makeup related photos.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name ghost.kae came about randomly one day. People always spell my name "kaley" wrong, so I started to call myself Kae. I figured it would be easier for people to remember. I love the paranormal a lot so I added ghost in front of it, and I thought it had a nice ring to it!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use ps touch to play with contrasts and different filtering to enhance the quality of pictures, and some of the Instagram settings

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I follow too many instagrammers to pick a favorite! But most of the people I follow are people that aren’t afraid to be themselves and have unique styles.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

One thing my fellow instagrammers have to try is the becca highlighters. It’s a product that’s super hyped about, but I just tried it recently and I can definitely say that those highlighters are worth all of the hype they receive.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love being able to let others know of different products that they might like! I often turn to social media to find new products, so I enjoy doing the same for others.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think that it’s important to remember that each influencer is different with different views and expectations of things. There’s a lot of diversity among people trying new products.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality goes a long way! It’s definitely better to put hard work into what you do no matter what it is that you’re doing. The result will be better in the end if you take your time with things. It’s so easy to copy someone else, but it’s much more rewarding when you stay true to yourself and do what YOU think would be good to do!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love the ability to help a brand get recognition and tell others about new products!
