Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Milana @pl.milana

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My full name is Milana Plaksina. I’m 18 years old,live in Israel and borned in Kyrgyzstan ( Asia ). I’m studying now in the youth guesthouse. I speak Russian perfectly , know Hebrew and learn English. YouTube and Instagram lover. I’m a modern dancer. In the past i was a model. Now I have a lot of hobbies. For example : i like to take a pictures (of course!) and videos (of me, of place,of people or of some beautiful places),sometimes like to draw fashion illustrations and to come up with outfits. Love sport and consistently do the exercises.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My instagram page is lifestyle page. Im a food/fashion and travel lover. In my instagram account you can found my pictures in different ‘looks’ and styles. My mom is fashion designer and dressmaker so I have a lot of pictures with her dresses. In addition ,how I said I love fashion,so I like to wear beautiful clothes. (my lovely shops : Mango/Zara/Forever 21/Adidas/Aldo shoes and my lovely brends : Triangl, David Jones,Michael Kors, Louboutin,Victoria’s Secret,Steve Madden,Calvin Klein) Also I have a lot of pictures with the amazing places ( sea/mountains/beach/forest/streets/parks/desert/) from Israel,Kyrgyzstan,Germany,Poland .

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Oh,its very simple! My last name is Plaksina , so i just take the first letters ‘pl’ and also wrtited my name – Milana. So Im ‘ pl.milana ‘ on instagram.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I tried a lot of apss before I started my instagram blog. I stopped for these apps: VSCO cam , Afterlight , Snapseed . (sometimes I also use PicsArt and Labelbox ) . Occasionally I change the style og my blog , but now I’m using Snapseed and Afterlight.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I want to be an interesting and useful to my people,to my lovely followers. I think that the Instagram Influencer Spotlight can help me with this. ( for example to give the information about some products and brends,to try them and to tell about them in my instagram to my followers. I think its an amazing!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think that brands need to cooperate with us,with me , with instagram or YouTube bloggers . Because we really can help them for running campaigns. We can show the product and write about it, try it and to give advice for our audience.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

First of all I think it’s very important always to edit before posting to make sure that picture really looks good .And to love wht you do , listen to your audience ,to be yourself and to be opened to the people.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

That I can discover something new and good for themselves too. And of course It allows us to share the products we love as well as create good content for the brand.
