Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Annabelle @LesPetitsCarnetsDABL

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m from Nogent-le-Rotrou. A little french city in Le Perche countryside. Very lovely. I’m usually working for fashion brands as saleswoman. I’m not looking for longterm contract. That’s why I’m not often in the same shop. I’m trying to make internship to discover new job when i’m not working for money. I’d love to work in a bookshop. I also work a lot on my blog, even if it doesn’t give me money yet. But it’s a real pleasure to blog and Instagram.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love reading. Really, that’s the thing I do most for now. So I post a lot of pictures of books to talk about them. I’m also posting pictures of landscape, city i’m discovering or where i live. I’ve planed to travel, so I’m trying to make my followers used to see that kind of pictures. I’m now posting pictures of my outfits or fashion haul, it’s a way for my followers to get to know me i guess. So, ya, i’m trying to post all the things that make my life on my Instagram, because my instagram is kind of my virtual diary.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Well, I’ve named my instagram after my blog : lespetitscarnetsdabl.fr I think we can translate that in English by : "ABL’s Little Diaries" Each Diary (carnet) is about a topic, i have : literature, movies, series, travel, music, "going out", pictures and lifestyle. That’s why my Instagram is named Les Petits Carnets D’ABL.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I’m only using Instagram for now. I think about uploading Photoshop. But for now, i’m not using any apps to edit my pictures, except what we have on Instagram.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I like Meganellaby as Igers but except that i use my own inspiration to post pictures. I don’t want my Instagram to look like others IG.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think all instagrammers have to try to live. That’s all. I know that’s not what you’re looking for as answer, but that’s mine. Take it or not.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I think it’s the exchanges with people. For example, when i read a book, i make a review of it. And then, people buy or not the book, but i find it lovely when people decide to read something you recommended and then text you to tell you if they liked it or not and why. I like to help people about everything, i like to make them happy, so if they are when i influence them about everything i think i’ve done my work there.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

By not getting influenced by anyone.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

"Be yourself, don’t get your life influenced by what’s fashion today, fashion don’t do your life but you can make your life fashionable."

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The fact that brand trust us. As an ex-business student, i like the fact that brands finally understood regularly people are better placed to influence other everyday people. Celebrities are not that important today, to sell things. But i guess that the most exciting thing is "wow, i’ve worked hard for that and brands have seen it."
