Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Maya Geremia @mayageremia

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi, my name is Maya and I’m a 19 years old girl. I’m Italian, I live in a small city near Siena, in the beautiful Tuscany.
Actually I study winemaking at University in Florence, but I’ve studied languages at high school. During the weekend I work for public relations in a local disco and sometimes also as hostess.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I’m really interested in literature, art and music. I love taking photographs in every moment of my day, which I post on Instagram: the most part of my images are about food, landscapes, details and me! 😉

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name is simply my first name with my surname because I want to be easily findable.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

When I have to post a photo on IG, I usually don’t use other apps or edit my pics: I only adjust some elements like shadows, contrast and sharpness.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really like @lisadimaria_ , @martiiitram , @federica_of_rose and a lot of other girls who post pics of their outfits and also seem true girl. Another inspiration is @paolaturani : I think that all these influencers show us that beautiful is in the simple things, like a smile or also a pizza with friends 🙂

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think my fellow Instagrammers should try to be more THEMSELVES, without hiding who they truly are.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I really like the fact that a lot of people know me only by my account, my posts and, as a consequence of it, they know also a lot about my life.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think people really trust brands which collaborates with Instagrammers because the Influencers are only real people who are not interested in selling you a product, but only in showing you something that you may like.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I think that the quality is the most important thing for a campaign, because to show all the good qualities of a product it has to be as promised by the brand itself. The more similar the advertisement will be to his product, the more successful it will be!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I really like to be useful to a new brand which need a little “help” to spread itself through the social network world. It’s also a good opportunity to test and discover new products.
