1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Shawanna Doggett. I’m 24 years old. I am from Providence, RI. I am working to save and invest in my career. Right now I want to be a full time YouTube focusing on fashion, beauty and lifestyle. I am also trying to grow my instagram even more so I can get bigger sponsorships. Right now my IG focuses on mostly fashion. And I am currently a brand ambassador for a few companies such as Fashionnova, Windsor, Hotmiamistyles, UNice Hair and more! I also want to get more into the modelling field.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Right now I’m working with clothing, accessories, hair companies and more to promote there brands. But I mainly most fashion as of now.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My nickname is Shae and my middle name is Marie and my bday is on the 3rd so I combined it all together and now everyone calls me shaemarie.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being able to inspire and help someone who is just starting out. I love making someone’s day. I love when people say they love my style because if someone likes it, I’m doing something right and that makes me want to be even more creative!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Have great quality pics, scenery, look as presentable as possible. Make people want to be you. And just be yourself literally!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality is everything and still I don’t feel I have the best yet but the little bit or change I’ve made in my quality, my following changed dramatically. Originality is also important because you don’t want to be known for something someone else has done be you and let everyone see the greatest you can put out.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love that they believe in me and trust me to help build them and they also build me up it’s a team effort!
