1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
Hi! I’m a travel writer and photographer originally from Spain. I have been living in Los Angeles since 2010 and traveling the world since I was 15. I’ve been to 30 countries so far and try to visit two new countries every year.
I also enjoy taking pictures, mainly landscape photos, but if the city is “photogenic” I’ll shoot cityscapes too!
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
My Instagram posts have to do with the places I visit. Anything that interests me regarding travel: famous landmarks, beautiful sunsets, seascapes, landscapes, cityscapes and sometimes, people too.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
Through my travel and photography blog. I wanted a name that was easy and catchy. Something that would resonate with traveling photographers, and after a lot of thinking packandclick seemed like the perfect name to me!
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I start off with Adobe Lightroom. Then check VSCO and Snapseed to see how the photos will look. And finally go over the tools provided by Instagram for the final touches.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
Without a doubt, Chris Burkard. He’s one of the best travel photographers I know. I had the opportunity of meeting him in person too and seeing how down-to-earth he is made me admire him even more.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
I’d say drones! Gives you a whole new perspective on travel photos. Looking to buy one myself soon!
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
The fact that I reach to people and have managed to help some. There was a student who needed help with this Master’s degree in photography and asked for my opinion. It felt really special to be honest.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
1.Looking for the influencer in your niche. If your brand is about men’s shoes, it won’t make too much sense to target a make-up Instagrammer.
2.Looking for ideas that resonate with people.
3.Selecting the right time for your brand. Every product has a cycle, look for the one that’s best for you.
Just like I mentioned before, the best way to keep authenticity is sticking to your niche. I will not post a picture on my account that doesn’t resonate with my audience. It’s not about the money. It shouldn’t be.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
To take the time to take a good photo.
Look for the right setting and light. It makes a whole world of a difference.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
That I believe in those brands. If I can help them promote their products/service, it’s a win-win situation.
