1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am 28 years old and a hairstylist from Jackson, MS. I currently review beauty products and plus size clothing hauls on my YouTube channel. I also love posting about things I love on Instagram.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I mainly post about beauty products, makeup tutorials, and clothing hauls.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I created my Instagram many years ago when I was growing my hair business. It eventually grew into my beauty review and happy place!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually use Facetune, Photofy, and Instasize. I use Adobe to edit my videos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Desi Perkins, MacDaddy, Tess Holiday are my biggest inspirations!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Right now I am totally obsessed with Kat Von D’s Metal-Matte palette. I have been picking it up everyday since doing a tutorial on it. Her eyeshadows are amazing!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Reaching so many people and learning along the way.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

To have allow influencers to have genuine reviews and let them test the products. Actually send us things we can show our viewers. They want to see how we like things! It’s important to be honest with my viewers and keep it real. That’s the best way to be authentic as possible.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Be consistent, be yourself, be confident and love yourself. All of those are a MUST.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

It helps me learn about products I don’t know about yet, same for my viewers. And plus it’s helpful to scratch each other’s backs and create a relationship! I love that brands are reaching out to social media influencers!
