Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Lucile @lucile_in_wonderland

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello! My name is Lucile, I’m 24 and I live in Paris. I come from the south of France and moved to Paris for work (I’m working in advertising) I really felt for the city, its beautiful architecture and its spirit, so I love to share pictures of Paris. I’m curious of everything, I love to learn and discover new things and places.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I think my account is more of a “lifestyle” account. I post a lot of photos of Paris, but also a lot of food (I love to eat!). I also love to share pictures of my getaways and vacation.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

When I was younger Alice in Wonderland was my favorite Disney. Growing up, I read the book and loved it. I love the universe, and I recognize myself in Alice: I’m curious and I have a very fertile imagination. Sometimes I feel like I’m in my bubble, so I guess it fits me to be Lucile in Wonderland!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use vscocam and afterlight. I’m using the HB1 filter on vscocam, and always edit the light, I want my gallery to be luminous. On afterlight, I add a white frame on my photos and I correct the exposure a bit more

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My favorite accounts change from time to time, but I think my top 3 of the Summer would be:
1. @mikutas : I love her style, I love that her gallery is coherent and I love to follow her trips.
2. @julietgisele : because, one word : FOOD (and she takes beautiful photos!)
3. @marine_chpn : She is really inspiring, we can feel the sensibility through her photos, and that’s what I like the most about her account

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Oh Gosh, I don’t know, I’m not good at giving advices! I think the most important is to stay true to yourself, people should be able to see you through your account, so just post what you like, not what you think people will like

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

What I like the most about being an influencer is discovering things and sharing these discoveries. For instance, I worked with Bellabeat and before they contacted me, I had no idea connected jewelry even existed, and I think this is such a great idea!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I’d say, they should choose people to work with who share the same values as their brand, then there should be no problem to maintain authenticity

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I think this is really important, to be able to create your own thing and to post quality content, especially when you are working with a brand. What makes an account special, is that you can feel the person behind it!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

What I like best about partnering with brands is all the creation behind the post. Sometimes you’re asked specific things and you have to brainstorm on how you’d like to do it, I go browse pinterest for inspiration sometimes, and I love it!
