Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Lou @loumbzrl

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a French pharmacy student. I’m living in Dijon, Burgundy. I was born in Dijon, then I moved in Jura, and in Savoy. Now I’m back in my home city to become a pharmacist, but I hope I’ll end up in Paris to get my final diploma. (As I’m a French Instagrammer I’m really sorry if my english isn’t good)

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love traveling, discovering new places, discovering new things. When I’m going to new places and I see something that catches my eye, I take pictures! And if it looks great on my instagram feed, I post them! So if I had to say what I post the most, I would say everything I’m discovering. When I eat something new, when I see a new place, when I buy something new…

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My first name is ‘Louise Marie’ so it became ‘LouM’. And my mother’s name is Bazerolle, so I shortened it in ‘Bzrl’. And then @loumbzrl was born!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I’m using VSCO. To make a great feed, I’m using the same filter all the time : HB2. I also add some contrast, or light… It depends on the picture, every one is different.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I’m inspired by instagrammers like Lornaluxe, Luanna Perez, Marie Von Behrens… They have amazing feeds. They are also bloggers, and I love to see their articles.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Keep your eyes open! All the time! Because beauty is everywhere. You can find inspiration in a sunshine through the leaves, in a street full of people…

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Sharing. Sharing my life, and have an interaction with my followers.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Try to know the influencers you get in touch with. If they like your brand, they will try to know you. To me it’s better if it’s in both ways.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

If you want your followers to trust you, you need to have original content. They want to see what YOU can do. You don’t need to copy the pictures everybody has already seen 678 times!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Discovering new brands, and sharing this discover with my followers. It’s even better if they like it as much as I did!
