Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Louise Scott @allthingsfrench

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Bonjour! My name is Louise and I am a total Francophile. I love all things French, and decided last year to develop a business travel website to tell people all about France and even arrange trips to France, predominantly for women.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My post use all my own photos (unless they are a repost) from my travels in France. I include tips and suggestions about what to see, where to go, and tips that are specific to each destination.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I started on Facebook using All Things French, because it is a well-known phrase and easily describes my passion and subject area.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Photoshop to edit my photos on my iPhone, then share them on Instagram. I also love Word Swag for updating any special information, milestones I have reached, special messages or events.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I Love @renatahaidlephoto (beautiful photos and commentary), @charmainewakefield for her lovely images, and @aparisianmoment for my Paris fix!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Certainly it’s worth trying out the new ‘Instagram Stories’ to keep your content fresh and real for followers that want a daily, ‘real-life’ update.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love sharing my passion for France, travel delights and, in particular, making relationships with people from all over the world. It’s fun, and a terrific way to share images of France. Many people that follow me comment about how I help keep their French dreams real, or memories alive.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I always speak from the heart, keep it simple, and share my joy and tips. I always answer each and every comment in a personal way. It can be really successful to ask questions to keep the relationship alive and ongoing.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I would say that original content, for me anyway, is vital. Of course, there are many sharing sites out there, but I want people to follow me specifically for what I offer. Of course, I occasionally re-share content if I think my followers will like it, but I want to create my own personality for people to relate to.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I have partnered with a language provider in the past, but otherwise I am looking for partnerships with French tourism bodies, accommodation providers, restaurants, attractions, and any other French-based industry. I would LOVE to set up these kinds of partnerships!
