Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Louisa Lange @saturnanimal

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany and I still live here. In Berlin you get the chance to live for what you love, for example art or music. I’m a creative head, no matter if music or photography. I really enjoy making music and photos!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I’m really in love with fashion, but not that typically “look at my new shirt” thingy. I love playing around with colors and lights, matching different types of clothes together. I’m inspired by the 80s and 90s, but I also like buying stuff from H&M. Sometimes I scroll through Arvida Byström’s or Joanna Kuchta’s pics, they both really inspire me.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Well, I’m not really sure yet. It was actually pretty random. I’m literally obsessed with the universe, all the planets and galaxies and so on. Jupiter and Saturn are both my favorite planets. And on the other side I’m obsessed with animals, I admire the vegan lifestyle. I’m vegan, too. Sometimes I think I have an animal soul, I’m able to feel what they feel. Sounds strange somehow, but it feels like I’m connected to them, doesn’t matter what animal. So I’m that weird animal from planet Saturn. Saturnanimal.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Sometimes PicsArt, but most of the time just some boring Instagram filters and sometimes even nothing of that.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

As I already said, I really love Arvida Byström. I like it how she presents women’s bodies as something natural and beautiful in an aesthetically way. Very pretty and interesting. But also like Charlie Barker or Internetgirl. I adore their kind of fashion.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I’m not sure actually. I think it would be something with fashion in any case. Probably showing more skin, like in an more feministic way. Human bodies are not just something sexual, it’s more. To show your body or skin has nothing to do with being a sexist or being provocative, it has something to do with art and aesthetic.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I want to share my thoughts and ideas, my photos and music with the world. Everyday I get inspired by so many people, whether on Instagram or in real life outside. But could I ever inspire someone? Sometimes you don’t have to do anything special, you just inspire people by walking next to them outside or the way you are doing something. We always think we should do something big to inspire someone, but often it’s just the little things. And that’s the reason why I love it: being me, doing the little things in life and sharing it with a great community. I’m not a special person, but I’m sure some people maybe get inspired by me.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

They should post pictures daily. Otherwise people will forget them, they will forget the company and products. We always have to remind the people around us. If you want to reach something (big), you have to do it regularly.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I know, it sounds kinda boring. But: Just be you. Everyone else is already taken. Your photos, music and whatever are the results of what’s in your head, in yourself, in your soul. You’re an individual human being, you are you and this is what your content will look like: It will look like you. Don’t copy something or someone, just be yourself and share it with tons of other individuals! 🙂

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I think the chance to get to know each other a little bit better is very nice. The communication between advertiser and influencer could be something interesting. As an influencer you get the chance to look behind the scenes and to get to know the advertiser’s products and their company. As an advertiser you get the great possibility to work together with nice people who like your work and what you do. you get the advantage to present your products together with great people. Maybe we could even learn something from each other! Doesn’t matter what, just different things.
