Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Macarena @macarenaferriol

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi, my name it’s Macarena Ferriol. I am from Spain, born and raised. Well, I can say that I’ve been travelling around since I was a child. Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.
Right now, I am studying law, in order to become a lawyer, and then I would like to do a master or a minor in fashion.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Most of my post are about travels, I travel very often, so I use my instagram to show different places of the world, and cultures and also, I love fashion. So I post on my account pictures about looks, clothes, trends…

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram is actually, my real name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use an Iphone 6 to take most of my pictures, so in my cell phone the apps that I use the most are : Afterlight, VSCO CAM (IOS) to edit my pictures and I use Imovie to edit the videos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

The instagram that inspires me the most are the couple @muradosmann and his wife @natalyosman with the hashtag #followmeto, an amount of pictures about their trips around the world, which show you a mix of fashion and destinations.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Do not be afraid or ashamed to show how you really are, what do you really like.
If you like it, wear it!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

To inspire people and get inspired by others. The opportunity that the network gave us to know everything that we want to. Like for example from a simple recipe, to travel tips, or shops.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

The most important thing about yourself as I said before, is to show who you really are, to be original, to get inspired by others, but have your own style and signature. Everyone is special in the way they are, so do not try to change it or pretend to be a person that you aren’t.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Because I update day by day, different things from travelling to fashion, but always the latest trends or news.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The possibility to show people make-up products, places, restaurants, clothes… Before they have to go and try for themselves. My experience may be helpful for others.
